Working with nature and bringing out the innate beauty of each gem are distinctive characteristics of Mercelles.

1. Design & Prototype - After nature take a hand in shaping the gems, the artisans at Marcelles would then begin the task of conceptualizing the designs.

2. The next step is developing the appropriate dimensions and proportions of the piece. Detailed studies of the design from various angles are produced, as pre-requisite for the transformation of the dream to reality.

3. Estimating - A piece of jewelry hidden in a box is like a beautiful poem which no one will ever read! To make sure these works of art are seen and appreciated by the entire world, Mercelles then studies optimizing costs to fit the need of the end-user.

4. Goldsmithing - The process where the gold is heated, molded and worked to achieve the desired design. Only the high quality gold could ever be permitted to adorn Mercelles gems. The artisans can bend this precious metal to their artistic will!

5. Stone Setting & Engraving - This is the stage where we attach the gemstones to the gold setting and place the appropriate decorative engraved design. After the correct seats of gold are crafted, the gems are then nestled with care to emphasize their own unique qualities.

6. Polishing - Final step of gold manufacturing that achieves the bright reflective look of the metal.

7. Electroplating - This is the process where electric current is passed through liquid and rhodium or gold is deposited onto the surface of the jewelry item to enhance the color of the metal.

In Mercelles, we do quality control in every level/step of the manufacturing process to ensure that out final product is of the highest standard.
